Q: Can spec.dock be used with all iPod models?
A: All spec.dock models conform to the Apple Universal Dock Well standard, meaning that any iPod (or iPhone) 3rd gen or newer with a 30-pin dock connector on the bottom - basically any iPod or iPhone purchased after April 2003 - will work in the spec.dock via the specific dock insert you choose when placing your order. In addition, this means that multiple iPods and iPhones will work in the same spec.dock by snapping out one insert and switching to another. These inserts are available for purchase under "accessories." Some newer iPods and iPhones come with an insert included in the box, and they are also available at your local Apple Store.
Q: Can I get a spec.dock with a black insert?
A: The iPod and iPhone inserts included with the spec.dock product are manufactured by Apple, and only come in white. We do not recommend painting the insert as the iPod or iPhone will wear the paint off over time. Also, the white insert makes the spec.dock easier to locate in low lighting!
Q: Will the spec.dock charge my newer iPod or iPhone?
A: Yes. All spec.dock models are backward and forward compatible with all iPod and iPhone models as long as the correct options are chosen when the order is placed. If you have any questions, please call or email us before ordering. We're glad to help!
Q: What is my connection type?
A: If you already have an iPod or iPhone connection in your car, you will want to select the brand of interface or radio your iPod or iPhone is connected to. We check every order for accuracy, and will email you if your choice is unclear or if we need more details about your current setup.

Q: How can I view the status of my order?
A: Go to the customer service page. Here you can enter your confirmation number to receive information on the status of your order. After clicking "go," click the date of the order whose status you wish to view. Also, feel free to email or call us at any time with any questions you may have about your order.
Q: What are your shipping costs?
A: You can view an estimate of shipping costs by viewing your cart. However, final shipping costs will be displayed on the invoice you see before confirming your order.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Absolutely! Our lowest international shipping charge is $35 flat-rate and travels via USPS Express Mail International. Depending on your country's policies, there may be extra taxes, fees or duties that must be paid once the item arrives overseas.
