Gift Shop: Step through the doorway into a shop for all senses, a destination for all seasons. Featuring nature inspired gifts and dried floral arrangements. A Knot In Thyme's gift shop features rows of dried flowers hung from the ceiling, dried floral arrangements made on-site, fragrant potpourri blends, soy and beeswax candles, organic bath and beauty lavender products, culinary and medicinal herbs and a wide range of other gift wares, from rock and mineral formations to imported French soaps. Be sure to see our Amish made cedar furniture out in the annex! During the holidays, deck your halls with our holly arrangements and holly wreaths. We also carry Christmas trees. Shop hours: Monday through Saturday, 10-6, year around.

Draft Horse Wagon Rides : Free! Tour the Holly farm and see the gardens, Saturdays beginning May 30, continuing through October 4. Other days possible by special arrangement. Phone for details.
The Gardens: Observe a working hortecultural farm in action in the "parterre", a quilted garden with intricate twists and turns of herbs, vegetables, and flowers. Marvel at the unique vertical garden, employing space-saving techniques with a beautiful, heavy yielding harvest of vegetables and flowers. New this year is our whimsical miniature garden (which will delight your "wee folk") and courtyard garden featuring a new lavender display garden.
A "work in progress" describes our original lavender garden as we restore the old and cultivate the new for use in our special dried floral arrangements and fragrant sachets.
The Parterre
How to find us: A Knot In Thyme Holly Farm and Lavender Gardens is located on the North end of Whidbey Island in Northwestern Washington State.
From I-5: Take I-5 exit 230 to Highway 20 heading west. Follow the signs for Oak Harbor, requiring a left turn after about 11 miles. After crossing Deception Pass Bridge we are 2.9 miles farther South. Turn right on DeGraff Road. A Knot In Thyme is the first driveway on the right.
From the South end of Whidbey Island: Follow Highway 20 North through Oak Harbor. Turn onto DeGraff Road 4.2 miles from the Northern Oak Harbor city limits (start odometer at Navy jet display). A Knot In Thyme is the first driveway on the right.
Watch closely for signs. We are off the beaten path but are worth the effort.
