About Aliza Darik Sisters, Alyssa & Darice Gregg moved from Michigan to New York City together in 1990 to pursue fashion and home fashion related careers. In 1999, they brought their experiences together, combined with a love for fashion, textiles, ribbons and design and developed ALIZA DARIK. In February 2000, they launched their first collection of silk flower brooches, ribbon chokers, cuffs and belts which landed in some of New York's most prominent stores including Barneys New York and Henri Bendel. At the same moment that Sarah Jessica Parker was confirming that silk flower pins were a hot trend on HBO's Sex and the City, an ALIZA DARIK flower choker was featured in The New York Times, Sunday Styles, July 2000. ALIZA DARIK still offers a select collection of floral accessories as flowers are perennially chic! ALIZA DARIK is thrilled to introduce their newest collection: "Sexy Destinations" Necklaces featuring an eye-popping palette of bold and luminous pendants suspended from long gold chains. The Sexy Destinations Necklaces were inspired by glamorous hot spots such as Capri, Belize, Buzios, Santorini, Bora Bora, Seychelles and more. ALIZA DARIK continues to offer shoe clips as well - extraordinary embellishments that attach to shoes with a clip. ALIZA DARIK wants women to be able to embellish their classic shoes, customize their shoe collections and enable them to create dozens of looks at a reasonable price. ALIZA DARIK focuses on quality and style, providing women with elegant and chic shoe accessories that add perfect and extraordinary details. ALIZA DARIK shoe clips are recommended by New York Magazine, www.DailyCandy.com, Modern Bride, Miss Meghan - "shoe guru" and author of "The Perfect Fit - What Your Shoes Say About You" and www.SheFinds.com. In 2005, Aliza Darik Shoe Clips were featured in TARGET.com's Red Hot Shop which features "pretty much the coolest stuff ever". ALIZA DARIK editorial coverage includes features in print media such as The New York Times, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Teen Vogue and many others. Frequently, ALIZA DARIK is called upon by magazine editors and fashion stylists to design and create custom pieces for select editorial stories.
