Hi Folks,

We want to invite all owners to our annual rally taking place May 25-27, Memorial Day weekend here in Elkton, Virginia. 

We started the X Roast and Ride in 2002 as a way to connect  with other Super X fanatics and to encourage everyone within traveling distance to come enjoy a few days of Excelsior-Henderson immersion.  Except for 2011 when we had to cancel due to health issues, it has been on-going.  This will be the 10th time we have the privilege and enjoyment of seeing our friends and customers.

We have had some great times through the years as the regular attendees can tell you.  We live in the Shenandoah Valley and have lots of challenging mountain roads as well as bucolic country lanes for your riding pleasure.  There is plenty to eat and drink and the company of so many other E-H owners is just plain fun.  Dan Hanlon will be back again this year.

Wmj Vandenberg was here every year after finding us in 2005.  Everyone knows what a great Excelsior-Henderson fan he was.  We were deeply touched that as part of his final wishes he asked that some of his ashes be added to our Saturday night bonfire.  We hope his good friends will come for his memorial.  Bring your best Wmj story.  Everybody has one.

Most folks start arriving Friday afternoon.  Food is provided at all times.  You can camp here or there are two local no-frill motels that offer economical rates.  If you want something a little nicer, Harrisonburg--about 15 country miles west of us has all the popular motel/hotel chains.

Alas, the Elkton motel has closed.  Some of you won't know how to act staying somewhere with A C and hot water.
