This Beautiful Chinese wedding bed was given to us to sell on consignment from a collector of Asian antiques in Charleston, SC. We are told it dates to the turn of the 20th century. It Measures 81" wide x 91" deep x 84" tall. It has a sitting area infront of the raised bed and the side panels slide up and down to vent. We are told the wood could be either teak or cherry. The bed is all Mortise and tennon joints! No Nails!!! It fits together like a puzzle and is comprised of over 40 different pieces. Local Pickup is recomended due to the size of this item (located in Richmond VA).
