These Shutter Dogs are a reproduction of the very popular "S" style dog. Many were used in 19th and 20th century homes to hold the window shutters open against the house. Material is cast iron. Dogs measure 6 3/4" from end to end and are secured to the structure with a lag screw. Sold by the PAIR. (2 Shutter Dogs per unit)
