Israel Epstein - raised in China, between 1938 and 1945 journalist in China for major newspapers, later chinese citizen and member of the Standing Committee of the communist party's Polotical Consultative Conference. Life-long friend of Soong Ching-Ling (Mdme Sun Yat-Sen)and the Chinese People. "I visit Yenan" is certainly not the Star of the PFS series, but a wonderful little book on Israel Epstein's early experiences and memories of Yenan, Shanxi.
