Evolution Hobbies offers the following Return Policy:

RC Vehicles:

WE do not accept returns of any nitro or gas powered RC vehicles for any reason. Please contact the manufacturer about any issues, including missing or defective parts. The manufacturers of the RC vehicles we sell all stand behind their products and will work with you to quickly correct any problem(s) you may encounter.

New Items:

Returns may be made within 7 days of receipt of goods. We can only issue refunds on new Unopened merchandise. We cannot accept returns of opened items. There will be a 15% restocking fee on all returns. Shipping charges are not refundable.

Special Orders: Any item that is not part of our usual stock and is ordered for a customer is deemed a "special order" and cannot be canceled. If a customer subsequently cancels the order they are subject to a 25% restocking and cancelation fee. NO exceptions. Please understand this before placing a non-stock item order.

We will try to help solve any problems you may have, but ultimately, the products we sell are warranteed only by their manufacturers.

Please note, items can only be returned if they meet the following conditions:

The item must be new and unopened!

You must first obtain an RMA(Return Merchandise Authorization) number from Evolution Hobbies.

We hope you like the re-design of our store and we have made it easier for you to buy from us. You DO NOT have to sign up or set up an account to purchase. You just choose your products, add to your cart and goto checkout, it's that easy ! Checkout with Visa & MC credit cards is handled via a SSL through Authorize.net, a recognized leader in the credit processing industry. ALL credit cards are accepted through Paypal. e-checks, wire transfer and money orders are also accepted. NO COD..

As of 4/01/06 any order placed will be sent out with a signature required for receipt of the items. Please make sure that someone can sign for your order. We have done this to help curb fraud and prevent chargebacks. ALL overseas orders must contact us for shipping information and fees. NO exceptions ! Our domestic shipping fees are calculated by the service being used and will be added to your order.

10/20/2006: We will no longer use the postal service for overseas orders over $50.00 as it does NOT allow us or the customer to track an order. In order for us to protect ourselves and our customers from fraud and to give the credit card companies and Paypal the information that they need for prosecution for fraud and chargebacks this is what we have to do. All orders for overseas will have to be shipped by Fedex, UPS or DHL and insurance will be reccomended. We are sorry that we have to do this but it is for your protection as well as ours. All overseas orders will be shipped to your confirmed address only unless we receive a photo ID matching your cardholder information.. International Shipping International Shipping
We are pleased to accept orders from outside of the United States. We support payment via Visa, Mastercard, and all credit cards and echecks via Paypal payment methods for International customers. All items in our store are listed in US dollars. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. Below are answers to some frequently asked questions regarding International shipping:  

What Shipping Service Do You Use? 

Your shipping choices and pricing will appear during checkout and may include: FedEx, (UPS) United Parcel Service, and (USPS) United States Postal Service. Please note that not all shipping choices may be available for your country.

 

The shipping options and pricing for your order can be viewed if you start the online checkout through our website. You will not be required to make your purchase at that time, but you will be able to view the shipping choices and pricing for your order. Your shipping options available will be dependant upon the weight of your order and the location we are shipping to.

 

To help you decide which method of shipping to choose, please review our list below that explains each shipping option:

Delivery in 1-3 business days, tracking is available, package is insured. 

 

 

United Parcel Service (UPS)

 

Worldwide Express

Delivery by 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 noon in 1-3 days, tracking is available, package is insured.

 

Worldwide Saver

Delivery by end of day in 1-3 business days, tracking is available, package is insured.

 

Worldwide Expedited

Delivery by end of day in 2-5 business days, tracking is available, package is insured.

 

Canada Standard

Day-definite delivery based on origin and destination, tracking is available, package is insured.

 

United States Parcel Post (USPS)

 

Express Mail International

Delivery usually in 3-5 business days, tracking is available to major destinations, package is insured. While most packages are delivered within 3-5 business days, in rare instances, delays of up to 30 days have been experienced once the package has left the United States due to events beyond our control (such as weather or customs). Delivery times are not guaranteed. 

 

Priority Mail International 

Delivery usually in 6-10 business days, tracking is available to major destinations, package is insured. While most packages are delivered within 6-10 business days, in rare instances, delays of up to 60 days have been experienced once the package has left the United States due to events beyond our control (such as weather or customs). Delivery times are not guaranteed. 

 

First Class Mail International

Delivery varies, tracking is not available, package is insured. While most packages are delivered within 15 business days, in rare instances, delays of up to 60 days have been experienced once the package has left the United States due to events beyond our control (such as weather or customs). Delivery times are not guaranteed. 

 

Important: We cannot list any amount other than the actual amount paid by you on invoices or customs forms. Please do not ask us to list a lower amount, or list your order as a 'gift', as this would be illegal for us to do.

 

Attention International Customers:  We screen diligently for Credit Card fraud! Due to the increasing high risk of fraud with accepting international orders, we have some restrictions in place to deter fraudulent activity. We reserve the right to delay the processing of your order until we have verified your credit card information. If we are unable to verify the legitimacy of the purchase transaction, we reserve the right to cancel the order and reverse or void the credit card charges associated with the purchase. Please note that we pursue all legal avenues - advise credit card companies, credit bureaus, and law authorities regarding any suspicious, attempted, or experienced credit card fraud.

 

Due to United States sanctions, we cannot ship to these countries: Cuba, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Libya, and Sudan. We reserve the right to refuse the processing of any orders from countries that are known to be actively involved in credit card fraud

 

To facilitate processing of International orders, in some circumstances we may ask that one or more of the following items be faxed or e-mailed to us: 

  • a front and back copy of the credit card being used to make your purchase.
  • A photo identification that contains a signature and matches the first and last name on the credit card being used.
  • A recent credit card statement that matches the first and last name on the credit card being used. 

Can You Provide Me With a Tracking Number? 

Yes.  USPS Express International, USPS Priority International Mail, UPS Worldwide Expedited and UPS Worldwide Express services provide you with an International tracking number. 

How Much Will it Cost to Ship to Me? 

The pricing for the shipping options will be presented to you before you finish your checkout.  All of the store items are weighed properly so when you check out, the system will compute the correct shipping charges for you and present you with a list of shipping options.  If you put some items in your shopping cart and start the checkout process, you can see what the shipping charges will be without actually needing to complete an order.

Important: Please see the information below regarding customs, duties, and taxes. Customs, duties and taxes are not included in your shipping fee paid to us.

Damaged Package Claims

If you have received your order, and your package was damaged in transit, please contact us. Customers with damaged packages can file a claim directly with us.  Please keep all packaging (box, packing paper, etc.) for verification purposes. We will most likely request the damaged product(s) be shipped back to us for verification.

Lost Package Claims

If you have not received your order, and feel your package may be lost, please contact us. Customers with packages that have not been received after 30 days (60 days for First Class Mail International shipments) from shipment date, can file a claim directly with us.

 How Much Will I be Charged for Duties,Taxes, or Customs Fees in My Country? 

Evolution Hobbies is unable to determine what your country may charge you for duties, taxes, or customs charges on your package.  These charges are usually added to your order upon delivery to your country. According to USPS (United States Postal Service), "If duties or taxes are assessed, most countries will collect from the recipient a customs clearance and delivery fee, in addition to the duties and taxes. This fee is authorized by international postal agreements to reimburse the delivery service for the costs it incurs in clearing the items through customs and collecting duties at the time of delivery. The duties, taxes, and fee, if applicable, are not included in the postage paid by the mailer."  Customers should contact their local postal carrier for further information on duties, taxes, or customs fees for their country. 

Are There Any Products in Your Store that Cannot be Shipped Internationally? 

Yes.  Due to their flammable nature, we cannot ship Fuel or Cleaning Fluids to our International customers overseas.
