This book is a collection of over forty authors. These deer hunters have been some of those who've contributed to the devotionals that have been produced through the years by the Christian Deer Hunters Association. As time has progressed the devotional booklets from past printing have became more and more in demand. Since they are now, no longer available, this collection of some of the devotions will strike a powerful spiritual chord with the reader. When speaking once at a hunter's breakfast in Soldotna Alaska, I'd passed out some of the pocket sized CDHA devotionals. One of the guys said, "you need to come up with a moose hunter's devotional!" To which I replied, "I believe the moose is just a bigger member of the deer family, so I'd say this devotional will work for caribou and elk hunters too, wouldn't you think?"
