The Smart Pot® is a soft sided container that is a great improvement over plastic pots. The soft fabric sides allow air to pass through to the root zone. This inhibits the circling of roots often found in plastic and other solid wall containers, thereby increasing the number of small feeder roots. It allows excess heat to pass through keeping the root zone cooler and more in tune to natural growth found in soil. All this combines to improve plant growth and vigor. Plus, they can easily be cleaned at the end of the growing season and reused again and again. Great for any potting soil. Can be used as containers for hydroponics.
Any plant can be grown in the Smart Pot®, from marigolds to trees. The assorted sizes that the pots come in make it easy to choose the size you need for the plant you want to grow. Excellent for larger plants as the porous fabric bottom allows moisture to wick up from the ground aiding in keeping your plant watered. The soft bottom also allows for contour fitting to the ground helping prevent any gust of wind from blowing over your plant.
