They put together a team to find ways to improve the design of the current electronic ballasts available and came up with the Baddass Ballast. It is a low frequency, square wave, ballast design. This allows your choice of a bulb to run on this ballast and have that bulb perform at it's optimum level and have confidence that it will not have a premature failure. Simply, it will get more light to your plants. The Baddass Ballast will run on 120 or 240 volts ( both power cords are included with the ballast). It will fire HPS or MH bulbs. It is a 3 step dimmable ballast, 100%, 75% and 50%. It will connect to most lamp cords, with the exception of Hydrofarm's.
