54 x 108" or 4 1/2 x 9' Red Ensign flag made from 1.9oz nylon produced with a combination of dyes and surface inks. This flag is lightweight, resists fading and flies in an easy breeze. The Red Ensign was the official flag Canada from 1924 until 1964. In 1921 the Red Ensign was designed with green leaves in the bottom of the crest, but they were changed to red in 1957. The Red Ensign was the flag we fought under in WWII and is still considered by many as the flag of the Canadian Armed Forces.
