A to Z Recreation Co. Store Policy

Please contact customer service for items that say "call for freight quote." Freight quotes listed on the website or during the checkout process are merely estimates and subject to change at any time during the transaction. A to Z Recreation Co. reserves the right to confirm all freight estimates prior to processing the transaction(s) and changing the amounts to accommodate "today's" freight expenses and fluctuations. A to Z Recreation Co. will make a reasonable attempt to contact the customer should such changes in freight exceed more than 10% of the estimated amount when processed through our e-commerce checkout process. Express delivery rates vary depending on the service required and not available via the e-commerce checkout process, please email these requests to: info@atozrec.com.

How do I place an order?

Approved credit accounts, municipalities, and schools are required to fax or mail a purchase order. Prepaid orders can be placed on our website with a credit card or mailed in with a check. Confirmations will be sent via mail or fax upon request. Please verify the accuracy of your order particularly as to shipping instructions, model number, quantity, unit of measure, and color. Customers are responsible for all freight charges plus a 25% restocking fee to cover costs incurred in correcting inaccurate orders. How will my order ship?

All small parcels ship via UPS or FedEx. Items marked with "LTL" or specifically state that you "call for freight quote" will ship via common carrier. A contact name and phone number is required for carrier convenience. Deliveries to a residential address cost more than to a commercial address. A commercial address has a receiving dock/area and has someone present to accept deliveries during normal business hours. Drivers delivering truck shipments are only required to move the freight to the edge of their truck. Truck accessory options (inside delivery, 24 hour notification, lift-gates, etc) are additional charges. Please contact Customer Service for details. All prices are FOB Manufacturer or Warehouse location. Refused truck shipments will incur charges for both directions of travel. Original freight will not be reimbursed. Refused shipments are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Express delivery may be available for small parcels. Please contact Customer Service for details.

When will I receive my order?

A to Z Recreation Co. is committed to shipping orders for all "stock merchandise" within 72 hours. Once your order leaves our facility, transit times will vary from 1-6 business days depending on your location. Out of stock items, custom fabricated items and items shipped from separate locations may have extended shipping lead-times. Please call Customer Service to verify manufacturing & shipping lead-times.

Discrepancies & Returns

All discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of the ship date. A to Z Recreation Co. is not responsible for any claims after 7 days. A to Z Recreation Co. reserves the right to replace, repair, or refund as appropriate.

Freight Damages & Discrepancies:

Damages or shortages must be reported immediately upon receipt of goods. It is the responsibility of the customer to sign the delivery receipt as damaged or short. If A to Z Recreation Co. is notified promptly of any issues, we will work with the trucking company as needed and file the claim with the carrier. If we are not notified within a reasonable time frame and/or the customer did not sign the delivery receipt as being damaged or short it is the responsibility of the customer to secure settlement with the carrier and to purchase replacements. Freight discrepancies on shipments billed third party to a customer's carrier of choice are the responsibility of that customer.

Returns:

A to Z Recreation Co. will accept the authorized return of all standard products for any reason within 30 days of the ship date. SPECIAL ORDER/ CUSTOM COLOR ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE. Customers must obtain a return authorization number from A to Z Recreation Co. after supplying the invoice number, item number and reason for return. Please contact A to Z Recreation Co. prior to making any returns. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted. Customer is responsible for a 25% re-stocking fee and return freight charges. Original freight charges will not be reimbursed. All returned merchandise must be returned in its original packaging suitable for resale and must include the return authorization number on the label.

Pricing and Payment Terms:

Prices are subject to change without notice. We will do our best however, to keep all internet pricing current but reserve the right to adjust published prices at any time. Should we error and not have a particular price updated at the time or your order we will contact you to request permission for the increase prior to processing the transaction. You have the right to cancel your order at that time should you choose to do so. If you do not respond to our request in writing within 72 ours or receipt we will simply cancel your order assuming you are no longer interested in processing the transaction.

Quotes:

Quote requests may be faxed, mailed, or emailed at anytime. A to Z Recreation Co. will return a written quote including a quote number and an expiration date. When ordering, a copy of the quote or the quote number must be referenced for the pricing to be honored. All verbal quotes (pricing and freight) are estimates only. A to Z Recreation Co. is not responsible for honoring verbal estimates as pricing and freight charges are subject to change without notice. The best freight quotes are obtained by requesting a formal quote letter.

Payment Terms:

We accept checks, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover cards. Approved credit accounts are required to submit a purchase order and will be billed 1% 10 Days Net 30 from the invoice date. Please contact our accounting department for required set-up information. All past due accounts are subject to a 1.5% per month (18% per year) interest charge and reasonable collection costs including attorney fees and necessary court costs. Acceptance of payment terms from A to Z Recreation Co. is considered a formal acknowledgment of this additional expense. Credit card orders are considered prepayment. Any approved credit account choosing to pay by credit card after the invoice date is subject to a 3% credit card processing fee. Returned checks may be collected electronically and a processing fee of $25.00 will be assessed by law. The check writer is also responsible for all other recovery costs, including attorney fees, court costs, and taxes.

Tax:

Michigan residents are subject to a 6% sales tax unless a copy of your tax exempt form or resale certificate is provided. If we do not have your current sales tax exemption or resale certificate on file, we must charge sales tax on your orders. We cannot subsequently remove sales tax charges from orders that are processed before your sales tax exemption or resale certificate is on file. Tax exemption is only applicable if the purchase and payment is made by the exempt organization. Personal purchases for the organization are not tax exempt.

Warranty & Product Information:

Limited Warranty:

A to Z Recreation Co.'s manufacturer's warrant most products against defects in workmanship and materials for between 1-3 years from the date of shipment, unless otherwise noted on this site or in our literature. Please call Customer Service to verify specific warranty information for specific items to be purchased. Nets are typically warranted for one year unless otherwise stated. Warranties on other manufacture's products shown in our catalog may vary and are subject to change without notice. Normal deterioration of products due to weather, wear and tear or other causes that do not affect the functional use is not covered by the warranties. A to Z Recreation Co. and its manufacturing partners reserve the rights to repair, replace, or refund as appropriate. This limited warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. A to Z Recreation Co. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages of any nature whatsoever. This warranty gives specific legal rights, and may have other rights, which vary from state to state.

Product Redesign:

A to Z Recreation Co. and its manufacturer's reserve the right to redesign or change material of products shown in this catalog in order to improve safety, durability, or value.

Warning:

All sporting and Playground activities carry the risk of injury to the participants. Improperly maintained equipment and inadequately supervised programs are significant contributing factors. All equipment must be thoroughly inspected and maintained to reduce risk to the users.

Appropriate safety surfacing must be properly installed and maintained under and around playground equipment. Never place playground equipment directly over pavement, asphalt or concrete. All playground equipment listed on this site is designed for participants between the ages of 2-12 years of age and less than 120 lbs in weight. For more information please contact the Consumer Product Safety Commission for a copy of their handbooks pertaining to either commercial or residential playground equipment safety or contact a local Certified Playground Safety Consultant to address questions or concerns.

The customer assumes all responsibilities both legal and otherwise to ensure that products purchased from A to Z Recreation Co. are used per there intended design and nature and holds A to Z Recreation Co. harmless in the event of injury whether it be physical or monetary in nature due to misuse, abuse, in proper installation, in proper maintenance, vandalism or acts of nature. A to Z Recreation Co. agrees to provide all appropriate installation manuals and instructions either with each shipment or upon request from the customer.
