Q: What forms of payment do you accept? A: We accept credit card payments through Paypal as well as International Money Orders and Certified Cheques. We do not accept wire transfers or personal checks. Q: Are items guaranteed? A: Absolutely. All sealed items are guaranteed to be as they should be. Used vinyl is guaranteed to be as described. If either of these is not true, return the item for a full refund or a replacement copy if available. The only items sold without our return policy are used 8 track tapes and bargain bin used vinyl. They are sold as is. Q: Why do you not use the Goldmine system when rating used records? A: This is a personal choice that we made, based on bad experiences we have had when buying records online. The Goldmine guidelines, while widely recognized, we find are very open to interpretation. We have bought many NM and VG++ records that were clearly faulted. It seems one man's VG is another man's NM. So we've chosen instead to actually describe the record in detail, as well as assigning it an A to C rating. (see the guide) All records are inspected and clear details of any faults are listed at that time. Of course, if a record has been misgraded, our guarantee and return option are in place. Q: What shipping time should I expect? A: We ship our orders three times weekly. You order will be processed and shipped within 48 hours of recieving payment. Average shipping times are 1 week within Canada, 2 weeks to the USA and 3-4 weeks for most of the rest of the world. Please remember that when dealing with international delivery, as well as multiple postal systems and customs agencies, that times can vary somewhat. Q: What are you shipping charges? A: That's a big answer! Canada Post has a very specific and complex pricing system. Outside of North America, CP has divided the world into 10 different shipping zones, each with it's own rates. Our shopping cart has been formatted to calculate the correct rate for your country. These are actual shipping rates, rounded to the closest dollar. Here is an estimated summary: Within Canada (Canada Post Exedited) LP'S - 1 - $9.00 / 2-3 - $11.00 / 4-6 $13.00 Tapes/CD'S - 1 - $9.00 / 2-5 $11.00 USA (Canada Post Airmail) LP'S - 1 - $9.00 / 2-3 - $ 13.00 / 4-6 - $18.00 Tapes/CD'S - 1 - $7.00 / 2-3 $9.00 / 4-6 $13.00 International (depending on country and services available- Airmail for small orders, Airmail or ExpressPost for larger orders depending on what is available for your location) LP'S - 1 $15.00-$17.00 / 2-3 $29.00-$34.00 / 4-6 $39-$47 Tapes/CD'S - 1 $9.00/ 2 $15-$17/ 3-5 $29-$34 ** Please note that these are estimates. Canada Post rates are based on weight. Each item's weight has been entered into the system and will be calculated correctly at the time of your order. LP estimates are based on single LP'S. Doubles and gatefold editions usually count as 2 items. Orders that include more than one type of media will be calculated accordingly due to total weight. Q: What is the meaning of life?
