In 2013, we will be offering our three most popular wet felting classes on one fun filled weekend. Join us for one or more classes. On July 27, we will be felting purses and scarves. On July 28, we will be creating one of a kind felted hats. All classes will be taught by local fiber artist Karen Simpson. See the detailed description for more information, pictures and pricing of each class. No knitting or other fiber experience is required. A $25 deposit will reserve your space.
FIBER CLASSES
* For all felting classes you will be using the Wet Felting Method. You will learn to use warm, soapy water and elbow grease with your choice of colorful wool and alpaca fibers to create incredible art pieces that you can wear, carry or display!

Felted Purse Class: You will have everyone stopping you on the street asking where you bought this purse! It is truly a piece of art! In this class you will make your own handbag from wool and alpaca fibers. July 27, 8:00am-12pm; Class $40.00 / $25 material fee.
Felted Scarf Class: Design and create this one-of-a-kind wearable art scarf from colorful wool and alpaca fibers. It will be a true fashion statement! Don't forget the purse and hat classes and make a matched set! July 27, 1-4pm; Class $30.00 / $25 material fee.
Felted Hat: This is a must do class for hat lovers! Create an incredible hat from wool and alpaca fibers that will look like you bought it in New York City! Oh you don't look good in hats? Well,... you just aren't wearing the right style!!!! I'll show you the styles that will make you look fabulous! July 28 , 8:00am-5pm; Class $80.00 / $30 material fee.
