Cleaning Alpaca

Our alpaca sweaters, hats, scarves and other clothing items are all easy to care for, just hand wash in cool water with a gentle soap or shampoo and lay flat to dry.  Alpaca clothing can also be dry cleaned.  You may prefer to dry clean larger items such as our reversible alpaca coats or alpaca blankets.

Our alpaca socks can be machine washed.  We recommend that you wash them in cool water on the gentle cycle, and then hang them to air dry.  They usually dry overnight and are ready to wear again.

Alpaca teddy bears and alpaca figures can generally be cleaned with a damp rag and once dry, brushed with a small dog brush to return them to their natural fluffiness.
