Welcome to ShAnGr-ila Glass Creations. . . . . I create one-of-a-kind fused glass art pieces. This is a process of heating glass, in a kiln, to between 1100 and 1700 degrees Fahrenheit. This joins together two or more pieces of compatible glass. Some pieces may then be slumped into a mold to take the shape of a bowl, plate, tray or similar object. Others are attached to jewelry bails to make necklaces or earrings. Annealing of the project removes any strains in the glass making them very durable. Imperfections in the glass is characteristic of this art process and no two pieces are exactly alike. Glass is very versatile and comes in many colors and patterns.
