This is a classic game that many people remember playing with as children.  In this rendition by HABA, well-crafted wooden colorful mice with long tails try to escape the "cat" - each mouse is assigned a number in addition to its color.  Keeping track of two variables and potentially more than one mouse is tricky for both the "mice" and the "cat."  You may think this game leads to lots of contention, but it doesn't because if your mouse gets caught, you get to be the cat and everyone continues playing!  This game travels well and will become a favorite throughout childhood.  Ages 3+.  Germany
