This is a heavy duty scissor style knurling tool.  The scissor action puts the stress of knurling on the tool, not on the cross slide. 

• 3 sets of HSS diamond pattern knurls - Fine, Medium and Coarse
• Knurls are easily interchangable
• tool comes configured with hardened pins that can be easily driven out
• if desired, a set of hardened bolts/nuts (supplied) may be used instead of the pins
• Maximum capacity: approx. 2.2"
• Shaft dimensions:  2.6" x .485" x .460"
• Shaft can be mounted on the right or left
