I think you'll be impressed with these high speed steel (HSS) tool bits.  Pre-ground in eight shapes.  I've used them and I like the smooth finish they provide to my turnings, especially in aluminum.  You could spend a long time grinding these shapes yourself.  Try em, you'll like em!  - Jack
