1.Q. How do I care for my new granite counter tops?
A. Clean as you normally would with hot soapy water. If you notice them getting dull or water not beeding up on the surface, then you will want to go to your local home improvement store and purchase a water based sealer for stone products. You should only have to do this once every 1-3 years.
2.Q. What is the normal over hang on counter tops?
A. 1 1/4" - 1 1/2"
3.Q. What is the normal over hang for an upper bar?
A. Normal over hang is 8"-12" with corbels installed to support the weight.
4. When ordering bathroom vanities or granite table tops, Can I return items?
A. When your shipment arrives, you need to inspect it right then, before carrier leaves, if there are damages, refuse the shipment and send it back right then, otherwise we cannot accept returns on damaged goods. The reason for this is that it is hard to know who damaged the item.
5. Will there be seams in my Granite Countertops?
A. More than likely, yes, Granite slabs are cut and sent to us in a max. of 10', if you have a wall that is longer or a corner piece that takes up more of the slab you will have seams.
6. If I have an exsisting tile back splash will my countertops come up to the bottom of the exsisting tile?
A. There is never a guarantee that it will match up to the bottom of your tile, it all depends on the thickness of top that you are removing, the levelness of cabinets, and the squareness of your walls.
