The centerpiece and foundation of the Navy pin is the traditional anchor representing the integrity, courage and sacrifice of sailors and their families. For over 200 years they have been the heart, soul, and strenth of the Navy. The brilliant blue stones in the anchor portray the seas and oceans of the world-the home of the Navy. Perched proudly on the anchor is the eagle of th Great Seal of the United States.
