Since 1990, EME International has been providing resources for everything about Impairment Ratings: software, education, certification for physicians, and Impairment Rating Reviews to the workers’ compensation industry.
EME offers Impairment Rating Reviews through a new division Impairment Solutions™ which are only done by a fully Certified Impairment Rating Specialist. (CIRS) Since its inception, we have provided thousands of reviews to our costumers across the country. We also provide a Management Report to track our success and yours as to the results of our reviews. As an off shoot of this program, we now offer Complex Medical Case Reviews, Medication Reviews and Return to Work Reviews. Our doctors will assist in preparing questions for a deposition giving a lawyer invaluable tools to get the right information.
Outlined below is why we are the best in the industry and our record is our badge. If a rating needs to be increased, we increase it. If an Impairment Rating is correct, we support it. However, if an Impairment Rating is incorrect, we correct it and inform you why with reference to the AMA Guides 4th, 5th or 6th Edition.
EME International is fully accredited with Tufts School of Medicine as well as Southern California University Health Science program for our educational programs. We are also QME and MCLE approved for the State of California as well as CME approved by the State of Nevada as a primary education for the paneled physicians. We offer courses for the 4th as well as the 5th Edition of the AMA Guides.
EME International is the only approved impairment rating tester in the State of Nevada and for the State of Texas.
EME has the only National Impairment Rating Certification Program (CIRS, NIRSAT and TIRSAT)in the country which is used to test doctors on their competency and expertise for use of the AMA Guides to Permanent Impairment. We have tested and certified over 4,000 doctors nationwide. CIRS signifies competency and knowledge of the AMA Guides 4th or 5th edition.
