Our design philosophy is very simple- Make It Work- Make It Beautiful! We believe, in the world of interior design, everyone has a different opinion as to what works best. As individuals all with our own tastes and experiences in life we develop a pallet to what is pleasing to us. We are experts at putting different styles, colors and textures together in ways that most people would never dare! We look at it this way- There are so many different sides to us as people and in order for someone to truly express themselves in their space-you have to address all sides - You have to have the mix! When we approach any design job we always consider the client first. We want to learn as much as we can in the initial meeting, so we have the freedom to create a space that is unique and distinctly expresses the personality of our client. We imagine how one would live, use and function within the space so we can create an environment that expresses them. We are inspired by the people that come to our showroom everyday with their own perspective in design and the amazing designers that we work with to complete a look. I have often been asked How I describe my look. We explain matter of fact- It is New Modern, by using antique, vintage and contemporary styles, from European and American designers of the 20th century and adding a smattering of industrial thrown in for good measure. You can create a look that is modern and chic with a 21st century sensibility. We are pleased to be back on La Brea after opening our very first showroom on La Brea back in 1997, which continues today. We specialize in custom designed and manufactured furniture produced in the United States. We are proud to support our local craftsmen and economy by mostly working with Los Angeles based companies to complete our look. With an entire full service design library and upholstery bar you will get exactly what you want. CRAIG OLSEN not only carries a huge array of furniture lines that you can simply purchase right off the floor, but has designed and manufactured his own furniture lines for over 14 years in his own name. Our custom upholstery takes 10 business days and is affordably priced. Our custom wood pieces take a bit longer, because our goal is to ensure that our customers are receiving exactly what they order with the proper care and craftsmanship being of ultimate importance.
