Store Policies Shipping You may choose the shipping services for your requirements in most cases. Oversize items, such as our stained glass, will usually ship most economically by choosing Ground UPS. We will ship overseas in most cases, so please e-mail us for overseas information.
We pack our windows with utmost care. Over the years, we have developed a safe and economical way of packaging our windows by wrapping the windows in bubble wrap, then sandwiching the window between two pieces of plywood. We then use styrofoam bubbles around this package. This method allows us to decrease the size of the box and increase the stability of the window. We have had 100% shipping success using this method. Even so, we always insure our windows.
We ship at the lowest cost possible while still insuring a safe and secure package. We use either UPS or the US Postal Service, whichever is less expensive for you or whichever you choose. Most shipping quotes are automatically quoted at checkout and are the exact shipping costs. If you feel our shipping calculations are off, please let us know and we will double-check. Computers make more mistakes then they should! Items larger then about 36 x 36 must be crated. Crating and shipping by freight can run up to $300 or more. Please call us for specific information relating to the product you are interested in purchasing. Our shipping methods are superior to most other shippers. We take pride in our ability to ship our products safely and in a timeley manner. We use traditional and inovative shipping products which might include a combination of any of the following: 1/4" plywood, bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts, and/or foam. We want to get our product to you safely. However, we are not responsible for any item after it leaves our shop. We add shipping insurance to all UPS shipments so in the unlikely even that you receive a broken item, insurance will cover the cost of the item. Returns Policy Ocracoke Restoration will honor returns of merchandise if the item is received by us in the same condition as when it left the store. All shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer, unless merchandise was sent to you in error. You must notify us within 3 days of receipt and send the item back within 2 weeks. 100% SATISFACTION We want you to be happy with your order and the order process.
