About Classic Clutches

Classic Clutches began from my adoration of clutches. I am always searching for another beautiful, outstanding, unique, and classic clutch! I can never have enough of them! A clutch is like a little piece of candy to me. One can be the absolute stand out piece of an outfit, or just a complimenting accessory, but always making some kind of statement.

I love when I go out and carry one of my vintage clutches, knowing that I am carrying a unique piece. It is very unlikely that someone else is going to have my bag! I have always been drawn to clutch handbags and began to fall in love with the look and feel of vintage bags. I am fascinated by the history that comes with owning a vintage clutch. Maybe the handbag was a gift from a loved one, or carried for a special occasion. In some instances, maybe the previous owner felt that the handbag was so special that it was never even used! The endless possibilities for the history of each handbag makes them even more valuable in my opinion. I began purchasing vintage clutches that I loved and before I knew it my collection was quite substantial! I started Classic Clutches to share the fabulous clutches that I have found.

Every clutch featured on Classic Clutches is a handbag that I would carry. Each one is already special to me as I remember where I found each and every one of them and how they caught my eye! I hope you find one that catches your eye as well and that you can make part of your own history.
