This example is a 30"x30" Louver for Doors. Available in any size and adjustable depth from 1-3/8" to 2-3/4". Our standard 2" louver is cut down to 1-3/8" depth and a back of door frame of 1-3/8" depth is made slightly larger to slip over the louver wall within the door. Attachment: screw to door through the front flanges, or if door is solid, you could screw to door via inside walls of louver and back frame. We normally ship the back of door frame in 4 separate pieces that you assemble with inserts to prevent shipping damage that may occur if shipped as an assembly. Just drill through the flanges and screw the louver to the door and the back frame to the back of the door. An alternative, as a convenience, we carry stainless steel 1/4"x1-9/16" barrel thread with screw sets which could be used to clamp the louver, door, and back frame together.
