Specifications
This long-tailed iguanodont is known to have been attacked by raptors in the Cretaceous.
Procon CollectA presents this figure of the Tenontosaurus for their new 2009 lineup. Now believed to be an iguanodont of up to eight meters in length, this large herbivore dwelled in North America during the Cretaceous. Osteological studies of this species have offered insight into the reproductive mechanisms of some dinosaurs, while the presence of Deinonychus teeth near the skeleton suggest that Tenontosaurus was preyed upon by raptors. As such, it is traditionally depicted as the "victim" in paleontological reproductions and artwork.
