About the Authors
Elizabeth McNamer teaches religious at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. A coauthor of the award winning video series Scripture from Scratch, she has contributed numerous articles to the monthly publication of that title. For fourteen years she has been a director of the Bethsaida Excavation Project in Israel.
Bargil Pixner was a Benedictine monk at Dormition Abbey, Jerusalem. His numerous articles and books include With Jesus in Galilee According to the Fifth Gospel and With Jesus in Jerusalem. As an archaeologist he uncovered parts of the Essene quarters on Mount Zion. He was an expert on the topography of Israel.
