Gently lift dulling, dead cells and unwanted surface pigmentation from sensitive skin with this triple-action exfoliating surface peel. Enzymes from the antioxidant-rich Pomegranate fruit are blended with a skin conditioning, exfoliating BHA. Both are suspended in a naturally exfoliating base of Algin and organic Locust Bean gum from the carob tree.
Sea Whip – the most potent soothing ingredient found in the ocean to date – targets red, peeling, and visibly irritated areas common in sensitive skin. Discovered by oceanographers from Scripps Oceanographic Institute in La Jolla, California, Sea Whip has been found to inhibit 90% of the inflammatory enzyme, phospholipase A2 (PLA2). This enzyme is known to trigger the skin’s inflammation response that leads to redness, discomfort, and post-inflammatory
hyperpigmentation. These ingredients work as a team to deliver truly gentle exfoliation to sensitive skin.

ACTION INGREDIENTS
- Betaine salicylate: natural skin conditioner from sugar beets complexed with keratolytic BHA; provides time-released exfoliating action long after gel is removed.
- Sea whip (Pseudopterogorgia elizabethae): one of the most potent sea-derived calming agents found to date, instantly quiets feelings of discomfort and visible redness. Soothes in seconds.
- Pomegranate enzymes (punica granatum fruit ferment): fruit enzyme gently dissolves unwanted cells.
DIRECTIONS
Home Care: Apply generously to damp skin. For optimal enzyme and purifying action, leave on for 2-5 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Use 1-2 times per week. For deeper exfoliation, gently brush fingertips over skin in downward motion until gel is removed. Do not brush-off if skin reddens or is sensitive to touch.
Professional Use: See Home Care directions. Ultra-Gentle Surface Peel may also be applied under cool steam if skin can tolerate moisture. Steam 2-5 minutes, remove steam. Allow gel to dry 2 minutes if gommage method is used. Otherwise, remove immediately after steaming with wet sponges or other preferred method.
Caution: This product has been formulated to meet the needs of truly sensitive skin. Some skin may still be unable to use this product. It is recommended that if you have ultra-sensitive skin, you should perform a patch test on the inner forearm or on the neck area under the ear 24-hours before using this product over the entire face and neck.
