James signed the pick guard of the guitar outside the Wilshire Theater during his tour through Los Angeles, CA in February 2007. The signature is genuine and was signed with a blue felt permanent felt tip. This signed James Taylor Guitar is Guaranteed Authentic and comes with a proof photo and my (LOA) Letter of Authenticity, which states the date and place James signed.
