-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Norm,
Thank-you so much for this service that you provide. I want to be sure that Ken's wishes be granted. That his ashes be spread over the Grand Canyon. I left my husband's ashes in your very capable and kind hands. Thank you for fulfilling Ken's wishes to have his ashes
spread over the Grand Canyon. I wish we could have been there, but I am glad that we had you to make sure his wishes were carried
out in a way I know he would have appreciated. I will always find comfort knowing that his resting place is exactly as he imagined.
Sincerely,
Elaine S. NY

"Dear Norm and Janet,   Thank you for being so kind, so caring, so generous. There are no words that could accurately express how appreciative and grateful my family and I are to both of you for Everything you did to ensure my parent's final wish was handled in the best possible way imaginable.  You have given me a precious gift...the gift of knowing I was able to fulfill their wish in a way that would have
made them smile and allowing me to handle the request I was assigned and chosen to handle with no concerns or worries whatsoever.
I will be eternally grateful.  Warm regards. "

"Dear Norm,
Since he was a teenager, Al rode motorcycles and after he retired from the Army (82nd, 101st, and US Air Cavalry), he was an active cyclist in the national motorcycle club.  He died riding a bike which he loved almost as much as flying!
Thank you for giving him the opportunity to fly again!"

"Dear Norm,
Thank you so much for making my mom and dad's final wish exactly how they would have wanted it.  My family and I will never be able
to express how grateful and appreciative we are for the effort you and Janet expended on our behalf.
The picture you sent of Catalina is simple beautiful.  I  have forwarded the email and attachment to everyone so they can enjoy it, as well.
Also, thank you for sending additional certificates.  It was an extremely generous and gracious thing for you to do and everyone is thrilled
to have one.
I am sending you a couple of things that I thought you might like.  Bruce shipped these home during his deployment to Iraq in 2004.
He was stationed in Tikrit ... the flag... Bruce and his crew flew a flag during each of their combat missions in Iraq with the intention of
giving them to their loved ones and the special people in their lives.  Some of the combat mission flags were flown even though the
recipients were not yet identified.  This was done with the understanding that they would only be given to those that would understand
the significance of the flag, especially since Bruce was awarded the Bronze Star for one of these missions.  Norm, Bruce and I would consider it an honor if you would accept this flag.  You have not only admirably served our country but are also one of the most generous, compassionate and honorable people I have ever met.  And your ongoing appreciation and support of military veterans through discounted services is another indication that your character is of the highest caliber....
I will most certainly attempt to send business your way and please feel free to utilize me as a referral for future potential clients.  I would be pleased to tell them that you are second to none and that it would be an error on their part not to hire Above & Beyond for their  remembrance ceremony.
I am better for having met you."

Dear Norm and Janet,
My family and I gratefully acknowledge your aerial dispersal service of my husband James's ashes over the White Tank Mountains west
of Phoenix. All my immediate family (seven of us) and three other close friends were present. We heard your plane and witnessed its approach to the designated area and the turn-around approach and release of the ashes. We found this aerial burial of Jim's ashes to be comforting and an appropriate way to signify the end of Jim's life with us. We think he would have been pleased and impressed at the tribute. He did love the skies and the peace and beauty of God's creation. He did receive joy and satisfaction during his 52 plus years being able to fly airplanes. You were able to give him a very significant "goodbye" to his earthly life. We say, "THANK YOU." Yesterday I did receive your two certificates of Jim's aerial burial over the White Tank Mountains and the beautiful picture of skies with the "High Flight" poem.
I appreciate these pictures and also your enclosed information about the Department of Veterans Affairs burial allowances.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Ardis M. and family, AZ

Welcome to Above & Beyond, Aerial Burial - Ash Scattering

Above & Beyond offers the cremation service of airborne release of Human and Pet ashes over Arizona, from Tombstone to the Grand Canyon (see locations on the right side of this page).

The scattering of ashes is universally associated with cremation.  Airborne release above a memorable setting gives closure to the cremation process while providing peace and comfort to those left behind.

When the remains of your loved one are released by air, each sunrise and sunset become an ongoing memorial.

We will aerially disperse the cremated remains of your loved one in a legal and dignified manner above your choice of several scenic Arizona areas from our aircraft. Following the release, Above & Beyond will e-mail a certificate suitable for framing to the family.  This certificate of release will include your loved ones name, be signed by the pilot as a witness and
