Air King Fastening Systems is your industrial nail gun, industrial stapler and other types of nailers suppliers. We were established in October of 1995 as a family owned distributorship providing Duo-Fast products to the upper Midwest region. We have been steadily adding to our product selection since that time in order to offer the best products for our customers’ applications. As our company has grown, additional family members have joined the ranks of our loyal employees. We welcome these additions to our business family and look forward to serving our customers well into the future.

The owners:
John Jones: President
John started in the industry working for Duo-Fast Corp., one of the first pneumatic fastening companies in the industry. His product knowledge started in the service department working on all types of pneumatics and manual tools. He developed his sales skills in the Nebraska and South Dakota markets and held sales management positions in Illinois and Minneapolis before opening Air King in 1995 as a Duo-Fast distributor.
Pam Jones: Vice President
Pam began her career in broadcasting and moved into advertising sales in both radio and television in both the Sioux Falls S.D. and Peoria, Ill markets. She has over 25 years of sales experience. She began her career in the distribution business in 1995 with Duo-Fast and has been an integral part of our growing business.
Ryan Jones: Customer Service
Ryan has developed his product knowledge working in all facets of the business; shipping and receiving; tools technician; customer service rep; field sales and service. He began his career during summer breaks from school and developed into a full time position after high school. He has been with Air King since 2000.
Jace Jones: Customer Service
Jace worked along side Ryan as a part time employee until working full time after college. He has held shipping/receiving; tool technician; website design and web management as well as customer service positions. He began working full time in 2007.
Gregg Stanley: General sales Manager
Gregg has been in the fastener business since 1976. He began working for duo-Fast Corp as a counter sales rep in Duluth, MN. Her has worked as a field sales rep and moved into sales management for Duo-Fast in the twin cities in 1990. He was promoted to National Sales rep with Duo-Fast in 1995 and worked with the company until he took over as General sales Manager for Air King in 1997. He has been a valuable asset with regard to knowledge of products, applications and business development with current customers and prospects.
Al Thompson: Regional Account Manager
Al has lived and worked in southern MN all of his life. He started with Duo-Fast in 1973 and was responsible for the southern MN and northern IA region sales. He left Duo-Fast in 1992 to develop his own fastening supply business. In 1997 he accepted a sales position with Air King and has continued his successful sales and service of customers in his area. His concern for customers and their objectives continue to make Al a major contributor to the Air King team.
Steve Petersen: Regional Sales Rep
Steve began his career with Duo-Fast in 1974 in Omaha, Nebraska after serving in the Army. He held a regional sales position with the company until 1995. He held a short stint with another distributor until coming to work for Air King in 1998. He continues to service the Iowa, South Dakota and Nebraska markets with a strong commitment to “service after the sale”.
Jerry Bowhay: Regional Sales Rep
Jerry also worked with Duo-Fast in central Iowa from 1992 and joined Air King in 2007. He brings with him many years of market knowledge and energy to develop the sales in his area. He currently manages sales in the central and eastern Iowa area,
Trent Steckman: Regional Sales Rep
Trent has been involved in the fastener industry in the twin cities. He began his career in a family owned fastener supply business catering to the professional builder. He accepted a sales position with Air King in 2004 and currently services the twin cities metro area and western MN.
