About The Potting Shed

Once upon a time...We began The Potting Shed over ten years ago in our backyard.  We would have monthly shows in 'The Potting Shed' which was a small and cozy building that we constructed from an old tear down barn.  This was the beginning of what is now a retail store located in lovely Downtown Chelsea.  

Our Store features a main floor with everything and anything you can imagine, an eclectic mix of vintage and new.  Our second floor is all baby and is simply amazing..really, it is!  We have an outdoor gardening courtyard which is filled with garden art, metal and cement.  We have a large variety of the very best hand picked perennials, annuals and lots of herbs.  We specialize in over ten different varieties of lavender.
