Natalie Neckermann's career as an artist at Heather Candles began in 1983 when she took a part time position with the company and evolved through the years to managing the retail store and an artist - designer of candles. Natalie's talents can be seen in the beautiful floral and wildlife designs as well as in the custom wedding and unity candles which have become a specialty of Heather Candles.
A native of Chicago, Natalie spent much of her youth in the mountains of Colorado, and during the 1960s, 1970s lived off and on in Montana relocating permanently to Montana in the early 1980s.
An avid hiker, Natalie can be found on most weekends throught the Spring, Summer and Fall hiking the mountain trails of Montana. Her hiking turns to skiing in the winter , and her love of Nature has given Natalie the eye for the natural floral and wildlife designs seen on the candles she creates.
Heather Candles, in business for almost 30 years is well known for a Unique line of quality and beautifully handcrafted candles.
Heather Mull, owner and artist has proudly designed the artistic selection of floral and wildlife candles. Heather was an art major at the University of California at Berkeley in the early 60s. After exploring many different art mediums, she began her candle career in the mid 70s in California. In the early 1980s, Heather relocated her business to Montana and expanded her line of candles to include many floral, wildlife and custom candle designs for all occasions.
The floral for Heather Candles are grown on the grounds of the studio - encompassing large raised beds of wildflowers, pansies, trees and shrubs chosen for their colorful contributions to the designs of the candles.
Heather, and avid outdoor person, pays especial attention to the essence of nature in her designs. Simulating the natural surroundings of the wildlife imaged on the candles and arranging the floral in a natural, lyrical way are the goals and accomplishments of Heather Candles designs.
