Superwash Bluefaced Leicester combed top. Wonderfully silky, drafts like a dream. Your yarn will be soft, with a subtle sheen and a bit of drape. Little to no prickle factor. Average staple length 4-5 inches, micron count 28-24. Let your color instincts run amok! This fiber takes dye wonderfully. When working with superwash fibers, keep in mind the dye will absorb (strike) very quickly.
This fiber will NOT felt. However, handspun yarns are more fragile than commercial yarns, so for best results, I suggest hand or machine wash your finished item, lay flat to dry.
