Handpainted merino combed top. Merino is a very soft fiber, with a squishy, chalky (non shiny) texture. It is a very fine fiber, with a small diameter, and an average staple length. Very comfortable next to the skin, Merino is also great for felting.
An interesting combo of colors, inspired by the very talented SmokingHotNeedles on Ravelry (her blog is Yarnloopie). Monika has also contributed the perfect name for this colorway, 'Phoenix". Rich shades of deep purple, vibrant magenta, juicy orange with the smartly contrasting robin's egg blue to freshen the mix. Supersize means you get 1 1/2 four oz braids.
