Satiny soft 50% Merino/ 50% Tencel combed top. The Tencel adds strength and shine, and a satin touch. This blend is favored for lace and sock yarns, as it drafts quite easily, and has a wonderful drape. The Merino portion of this fiber will felt. Nuno felters esp like this fiber combination, as they get interesting effects with the felting Merino, and the non felting, shiny Tencel.
An interesting combo of colors, inspired by the very talented SmokingHotNeedles on Ravelry (her blog is Yarnloopie). Monika has also contributed the perfect name for this colorway, 'Phoenix". Rich shades of deep purple, vibrant magenta, juicy orange with the smartly contrasting robin's egg blue to freshen the mix.
Stock colorways are dyed to order, and ship within 3-7 days of purchase. Please allow for variation between dyelots, and even braids in the same dyelot, due to the hand application of dyes. Supersize means you get 1 1/2 four oz braids
