Display your fiber skills wherever you go with a custom sewn Lizzy project/tote bag made just for you by Alice Curtis of the Pincushion Patch.
Send a length of your own hand woven or knitted/crocheted fabric and Alice will fashion it into the perfect project bag in one of two sizes. Fully structured and lined with interior pockets for notions and tools.
Two sizes to choose from:
Li'L Lizzy- 8 x 5 x 8(requires 10 x 27” fabric length minimum)
Midi Lizzy- 9 x 5 x 10 (requires 12 x 29 fabric length minimum)
It is recommended (but not required) that your fabric includes a flat untextured area along the long edges. Due to the unique character of each handmade fabric, the finished dimensions of your bag may vary slightly in order to make the best use of your handiwork.
Alice is a pro at selecting the perfect materials and finishing touches to complement your handmade fabric. If you have any likes or dislikes or special handling concerns you can share them with Alice when she contacts you to discuss your bag (you can expect an email from Alice within 24-48 hrs of purchase). Each bag is individually crafted, so please allow up to 21 days for completion. For US orders, delivery confirmation is included. You may request shipping insurance for an extra charge.
The fabric to the right was woven on a 12 inch Ashford Knitter's Loom by Ginny (of FatCatKnits), using yarn she spun from her Chevalier colorway (Falkland fiber, chain plied).
Check out at these details! Crisp, sharp corners and edges, straight seams, fun fabrics inside, and the handles- oh, wow! Plus, those cute buttons are the perfect finishing touch, and set off the fringed edge wonderfully.
