Handpainted merino combed top. Merino is a very soft fiber, with a squishy, chalky (non shiny) texture. It is a very fine fiber, with a small diameter, and an average staple length. Very comfortable next to the skin, Merino is also great for felting. Supersize means you get 1 1/2 four oz braids.
Named for Giselle- romantic, tragic, sweet and lovely.This colorway has a long, striping color sequence- perfect for self striping yarns. You can also break out the colors and spin separately for fairisle knitting and other colorwork, or strip the roving thinly and mix the colors up- they were selected to work well mixed together, too :)
