60% merino, 40% bamboo. Soft and wonderful! Ideal for any type of yarn, from laceweight to bulky. The bamboo adds a silver heatheriness to your yarn, and both the merino and bamboo are very comfortable to wear next to the skin. Supersize means you get 1 1/2 four oz braids.
When I did my studio fund fundraiser back in Dec 2012-Jan 2013, one of the donation levels included the option to name a colorway. This colorway was named by lovely studio fund donor thing4string whom many of us know for her superb, near perfect spinning. When I asked her if she had any suggestions regarding the colorway, she brought a very old colorway of mine, Common Cause, to my attention. Now, my dyeing practices have changed quite a bit since the good old days, but I got to work, and a few incarnations later, we have 'Raglan Road'. Micki chose that name in honor of her dad's favorite poem, "Raglan Road"- I think it is just the perfect name for this colorway :)
Stock Colorways are dyed to order, and ship within 3-7 days of ordering. If you see a Stock Colorway you want, but not the fiber base you want it in, please email me at FatCatKnits@gmail.com. Also, if you want a larger amount of a colorway than is offered in the listing, I can definitely accommodate you. Please allow for variation between dye lots, and even braids in the same dye lot, as dyes are applied by hand.
