4 oz (113 gm) of new favorite, Polwarth combed top. A very popular fiber, Polwarth shares many qualities with Merino. It is a fine fiber, very soft and comfortable to sensitive skin. It has a longer staple length, making it a bit easier to spin, and creates a delightfully poofy yarn. Polwarth fiber felts well. 6 oz supersize gets you one and one half 4 oz braids.
Introducing 'Wizard Island', a brand new, self striping colorway- available on all FatCatKnits fibers, in any amount you might need! 'Wizard Island' begins and ends with deep purple and darkest indigo, transitioning through a variety of moss and earthy greens, meeting in the middle in deep evergreen. These distinct color sections make it easy to create amazing, self striping yarns. You can also spin each color section separately to create yarns for colorwork that works.
Stock Colorways are dyed to order, and ship within 3-7 days of ordering. Please remember that FatCatKnits fibers are hand dyed (in my kitchen!), and expect some variation between rovings. If you plan on making a larger project, and need more than one roving, I suggest you order all you need at one time. Rovings which are dyed together have the least variation between them.
