Hibiscus Loose Tea from the Nile River Valley is a scarlet red infusion from the sepals of the hibiscus plant used as a cooling and refreshing drink since ancient times.

Related to the ornamental variety we know so well, hibiscus sabdariffa is native to Africa and symbolizes grace and beauty.

This hibiscus is field grown and sun dried. Rich in Vitamin A and C, contains Anthocyanin and beta carotene antioxidants. Replaces electrolytes and quenches thirst after vigorous exercise. Eases symptoms of cold, flu and coughs.

Hibiscus can be brewed with ginger, clove, cinnamon and nutmeg for a holiday drink. We advise not to use milk.

2oz packets of loose leaf tea make between 20 and 25 cups of tea, though we recommend multiple infusion to enjoy even more of this fine tea.
