The stories of Earl Grey are numerous! One such tale tells of a British diplomat on a mission to China who saved the life of a Mandarin. As a gift of gratitude he was given the recipe for this flavored tea. The diplomat on returning to Britain presented the tea to Prime Minister Earl Grey (1830-1834) who made the tea very fashionable.

We are so glad he did. To this day it remains the most popular flavored tea in the World!

Our variety is a Luxury black tea blended with soft natural flavors of oil of bergamot (a citrus fruit) in perfect balance for an unbelievable aroma and refreshing taste which will certainly have you coming back for more.

Traditionally served hot but we also serve iced and it is tastes great. This is a perfect tea for serving with pastries and cakes but just as good on its own.

To achieve best results use boiling water and steep for 4-6 minutes. Use a teaspoon per 8oz serving.

20 to 25 cups of tea can be made from 2 oz of loose leaf tea.

Store in a dry place.
