This CD contains the images of the original pages along with a full text search capability for the following book: 1. PA Archives, Fifth Series, Vol. VIII (Thomas Lynch Montgomery; Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; 1906). This volume from the Fifth Series of the Pennsylvania Archives was originally published by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1906. Included on this CD-Rom are the muster rolls related to the associators and militia for Northampton and Northumberland counties during the Revolutionary War. Found within the muster rolls are lists of officers and soldiers along with an accounting of arms delivered to Northampton militias. The muster rolls in the Second Series of the PA Archives were found to be riddled with errors and were in some cases incomplete. This volume was reprinted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in order to correct the errors and omissions related to Northampton and Northumberland counties.
