Don't let critics of the Bible destroy your faith in God and His Word! The lives of many people have gone off course through the influence of scholar-critics who discredit our one source of knowledge on eternity and the way of true righteousness. Their credentials are suspect, having been bestowed by predecessors of their kind, and they have no authority beyond that allowed by their audiences. In heeding the critics, many have ceased to pursue the knowledge of God, becoming cynical about eternity and righteousness, and have fallen into destructive life-styles. Any who think scholar-critics know what they're talking about eventually discover they offer mere opinion and are misled themselves, knowing nothing useful of ultimate truth. We must examine scripture carefully to avoid being misled. Those who do so can find solid proof of the inerrant divine hand on the text of scripture. Indeed scripture proves to be a revelation of God, showing itself inerrant in all details, which can only be due to a divine origin since inerrancy is well beyond humanity's reach. In this writer's experience, faith in the sovereign God resolves all enigmas in scripture, revealing complete truth. But critics with faith in their own sin-driven intellect, have eyes that see error in all that is holy, being blind to truth. Christ said to the blind seeking their sight (Mt.9:29), According to your faith be it unto you, which applies to the spiritually blind too. The work of Christ's church, being based on the inerrant word from God is motivated by the highest goals and the greatest rewards imaginable. But the word of scholar-critics who deny their own Creator and speak evil of all that is holy, offers nothing but a quagmire of materialism and appetite indulgence and can bring people into a state of darkness that destroys the soul. The present writer calls readers to see the evidence of the divine origin of scripture and to the realization that the Creator God who gave us His Word of instruction observes our response to that word, with the aim of giving eternal rewards, good or bad.
