This cleaning Rod is a direct replacement of the original PolyTech part installed on AK47 rifles manufactured in the early 80's and imported by KFS Industries Inc. (Kengs Firearm Specialty). Constructed from steel and built with better fit and finish than most AK cleaning rods on the market. The overall length is 15 3/4" and includes a threaded end to accept a patch jag, and bore brush. Works with our Chinese Cleaning Kit Part#: 70-F10. To install simply thread the rod through the Gas Block and Lower Handguard hole and snap into place under the front sight. This particular cleaning rod will fit all PolyTech and Type 56 Chinese manufactured AK47's, including the AKS-762 and Legend Series PolyTech.

The Original PolyTech AK-47 and SKS parts listed on our website are NOS (New Old Stock) originally manufactured by Poly Technologies, Inc. of China between 1985 and 1989. These were produced at State Arsenals 416 and 386 during that time. The Poly Technologies AK-47 has the same specifications of the Chinese Type 56.
