AK47 Rear Sight Housing Retaining Pin Chinese PolyTech AK Rifle
The rear sight housing retaining pin is located under the Lower Handguard. After installing the AK47 barrel on your rifle, the sight housing is slipped over the barrel from the muzzle end and aligned with the housing barrel notch. The retaining pin is then installed with a punch to secure the housing in position.
The Original PolyTech AK-47 and SKS parts listed on our website are NOS (New Old Stock) originally manufactured by Poly Technologies, Inc. of China between 1985 and 1989. These were produced at State Arsenals 416 and 386 during that time. The Poly Technologies AK-47 has the same specifications of the Chinese Type 56. Some PolyTech parts should be compatible with Norinco and later production MAK-90 rifles. However, only guarantee the proper fit and function of these parts on Original PolyTech rifles imported by Keng's Firearms Specialty, Inc. between 1985 and 1989. Please note that PRC Type 56 pattern AK parts are not compatible with Russian, Hungarian, Romanian or Bulgarian manufactured AK47 pattern rifles.
