AK47 PolyTech Barrel and Bolt kit - Chinese PolyTech AK Rifle
The Components of the PRC Tier-3 barrel and bolt repair kit are not the most common items to fail on your weapon. However like any other mechanical system AK parts are not failure-proof. Due to the limited quantities on these three items we do recommend you purchase this kit. The PRC Type 56-pattern parts will be specific to the PolyTech or Norinco as the receivers and barrels are of somewhat different dimensions on Chinese compared to other European receiver types. These will not be replaceable once we are out of stock. The Tier-3 repair kit components include:
- PRC Spare Barrel (Chrome Lined)
- PolyTech AK Gas Piston
- 7.62 x 39 mm Stripped Bolt
The Original PolyTech AK-47 and SKS parts listed on our website are NOS (New Old Stock) originally manufactured by Poly Technologies, Inc. of China between 1985 and 1989. These were produced at State Arsenals 416 and 386 during that time. The Poly Technologies AK-47 has the same specifications of the Chinese Type 56. Some PolyTech parts should be compatible with Norinco and later production MAK-90 rifles. However, only guarantee the proper fit and function of these parts on Original PolyTech rifles imported by Keng's Firearms Specialty, Inc. between 1985 and 1989. Please note that PRC Type 56 pattern AK parts are not compatible with Russian, Hungarian, Romanian or Bulgarian manufactured AK47 pattern rifles.
