Historical Perspective, Remembering a Family Tradition
Sophia's Chocolates really began over 30 years ago by Carol Kirby and originally known as "Candies by Carol". Over the years, her toffee and chocolates have become a favorite among many friends in the Dallas / Highland Park area and Colorado Springs. Planning for the the future while honoring the past, Carol allowed her daughter Marcie to continue this family tradition. February 2008 Candies by Carol became Sophia's Chocolates, LLC. Named after Carol's granddaughter Sophia, Sophia's Chocolates LLC continues Carol's wonderful tradition of making some of the best hand crafted toffee and chocolates.

Moving Forward
November 2008 was a decisive time for Sophia's Chocolates. With darkening skies of troubled economic clouds forming, we were presented with an opportunity to expand and greatly enhance our kitchen facilities. With our faith, friends, and family we signed a new lease on a wonderful commercial kitchen facility [see the pictures below]. Knowing that if we just look at the clouds forming we would never move forward, we put our faith, vision, and real investments towards the future. It has been a great blessing to us and we are very thankful to You and I Caterers for leasing us this kitchen and helping us.

Why are we moving forward in such times?
We simply believe in our product and have thirty years of hard work perfecting it. History has shown that some of the most intuitive companies have formed during economic recessions by taking advantage of certain market conditions. We intend to do just that.

Our Kitchen Facilities
The kitchen now allows us to hand craft the most delicious, English toffee available in large supplies for personal and commercial customers. We now have both a dream and the way to make our vision come true.
